About the Journal
Research Integrity Statement
This journal strictly abides by the guidelines of the International Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to maintaining the integrity and fairness of academic publishing. All manuscripts submitted to this journal must meet the following research integrity requirements:
Originality and Academic Misconduct
The manuscript should be the author's original research results, have not been published in any other journals or platforms in any form, and do not involve any form of academic misconduct, including but not limited to plagiarism, plagiarism, data tampering, falsification or duplicate publication.
Submitted authors must pass the review of academic misconduct detection systems and the duplication rate must not exceed the threshold specified by this journal (usually ≤20%).
Author Contribution and Signature
All signed authors must have made substantial contributions to the research work and agree to the final version of the manuscript.
Improper signature behaviors such as ghost authorship or gift authorship are prohibited.
Data authenticity and reproducibility
Research data must be authentic, complete, and available for review. Authors are encouraged to disclose original data or indicate the location of data archives.
The experimental methods should be described in detail to ensure the reproducibility of the study.
Disclosure of Conflict of Interest
Authors should declare whether there are any financial, institutional or personal conflicts of interest that may affect the results of the study. If there is no conflict, it should also be clearly marked as "no conflict of interest".
Ethical Compliance
The journal does not accept research involving human or animal experiments.
Correction and Retraction
If errors or academic misconduct are found in the published manuscript, the journal will initiate an investigation according to the COPE process and issue a correction statement or retraction notice as appropriate.
Handling of Violations of Scientific Integrity
If academic misconduct is confirmed in the manuscript, the journal will reject or withdraw the manuscript and notify the author's institution and cooperating journals. Those with serious circumstances will be blacklisted and restricted from submitting manuscripts in the future.
Author Responsibility
Submission of the manuscript is deemed to be the author's commitment to abide by this statement.
Peer Review Process (Double-Blind Review)
The journal employs a double-blind peer review system, where the identities of both the reviewers and the authors are kept confidential throughout the entire review process. The specific workflow is as follows:
Submission and Initial Format Check
Authors submit their manuscripts through the online submission system. The editorial office will conduct a preliminary format and scope check to ensure the manuscript complies with the journal's author guidelines and falls within the journal's scope. Any personal information that could reveal the author's identity will be removed from the manuscript file.
Initial Review by Editor-in-Chief
Manuscripts that pass the format check will be forwarded to the Editor-in-Chief or an appropriate Associate Editor for an initial assessment of academic quality and novelty, to determine suitability for the peer review stage.
Invitation of Reviewers
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial review will be sent for double-blind review. The editorial team will invite at least two independent reviewers from the expert database based on the research topic. Neither the reviewers nor the authors will be informed of each other's identities.
Review and Return of Comments
Reviewers are typically requested to return detailed comments and recommendations within a specified timeframe (e.g., 1-2 weeks). Feedback usually covers aspects such as originality, methodological rigor, reliability of results, clarity of argumentation, and relevance to the field.
Editorial Decision and Author Notification
Based on all received review reports, the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editor will make a preliminary decision. Common decision types include:
Accept as is
Accept after minor revisions
Reconsider after major revisions
Decline
The editorial office will communicate the decision to the corresponding author, along with all anonymized reviewer comments.
Author Revision and Resubmission
For manuscripts requiring revisions, authors must submit a revised version within the specified deadline and provide a point-by-point response to all reviewer and editorial comments.
Re-evaluation and Final Decision
Minor revisions: Typically re-evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief or handling editor.
Major revisions: Usually sent back to the original reviewers for re-assessment to ensure all concerns have been adequately addressed.
Based on the quality of the revisions and the re-evaluation feedback, the Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision (Accept or Reject).
Acceptance and Publication
Manuscripts that are finally accepted will proceed to the subsequent stages of language polishing (if required), proofreading, typesetting, and online publication.
